Annual Function : |
| Although the organization has no specific financial background or source yet it feels that annual function is the most appropriate platform to display the children gifted and hidden talent to the public. Annual day is celebrated on 31st Oct. of every year. This is birth day of Late Ganesh Bihari. The children rehearse for a period of three months. The experts and the teachers help them. To keep their spirit high, they are provided adequate refreshment. These things help delightfulness in them.
The citizen of Gorakhpur, Govt. officers and media men are invited and requested to attend the function. The children's performance each year establishes over them a overwhelming effect. The feed back which the organization receives says,? We never believed such a magnificent and splendid performance by slum children.? The parents of the children are specifically solicited to attend the function to view the great performance of their kids. |

Parents Day : |
| In each alternate month teacher-parents meeting is arranged in order to discuss elaborate by student?s problems, besides this parents are also given suggestions. The organization openly discusses with parents the following subjects. Education, Women empowerment, Health, Sanitation, Women rights, children?s rights, child abuse, child harassment and family planning. It is done with a purpose to To make them awakened for this responsibility and they may be able to develop themselves into civilized well cultured and responsible citizen and may help in the upliftment of our social order.
Through parents are come to know the lingering Problem of the children which ultimately makes over to erase all these from them and find an appropriate solution for this problem. Since free education and free availability of books and dress sometimes make a parent careless regarding their commitment, so such meeting keep them on track of the responsibilities. |

Field trip or Exposure : |
| To see the world closely and understand its complexities itself is a great experience for slum children. G.B.Memorial arrange twice exposure trip for children so that they may have fun along with educational benefit and social harmony. Lack of fund enforces the organization to go one trip inside the city and the next very near to city boundaries. Extreme enthusiasm is viewed when they go outside the city for the trip. As they had never a chance to go out from their houses, so it is a wonderful experience for them. |

Health Camp : |
| The children also suffer from ill-health, so every year on 27Jan a health camp is organized in the school for the medical checkup and leading child specialists and gynecologist are requested to be in the team of doctors. Children as well as their mother also pass through medical checkup and are provided medicine free of cast. It was detected in the last camp that 60% children suffer from malnutrition problem. Hence their mother were briefed how to arrange less cost such products, vegetables cereals etc. which may be a balanced diet for them and this would ultimately keep up their health.
Sr. doctors of GKP medical college and doctor?s association have suggested arranging such health camp at each two years. The organization has constructed a homeopath and an allopath doctor to organize a medical check programme for the students in every month.
The school provides daily refreshment to the children, but it is inadequate. However, the organization is in effort to provide adequate mid day meal to them so that they we saved from the ill effect of mal-nutrition. |
